Dog Home Boarding North Wales

Your dog can come to live as one of the Berry’s Pet Services gang at our rural home in Bwlchgwyn.

Nestled in a hill in North Wales’ highest village with over half an acre of secure gardens and woodland to play in and explore, Berry’s Pet Services is a great home from home for your precious pooch.

You dog will live in our home; no kennels here – our sofas are your dog’s sofas! We also run our sister business, www.berryandfriends.co.uk on site, so add ons are available throughout your dogs’ stay.

We do have friendly resident dogs, so can only cater for dogs who get on with other dogs. Your dog is welcome to have time away from ours if preferred, i.e. a space of their own overnight, solo garden exploring time, meals served in a different room etc however would need to be generally non-reactive to other dogs to be happy here.

We have a few rules in order to board with us:

  • All dogs must be fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatment- proof of this must be provided upon booking. This is a mandated insurance and licensing requirement so there can be no exceptions
  • All dogs (with the exception of very young puppies) must be fully house trained. This includes being toilet trained, non-destructive and generally well-behaved in the home
  • Dogs must not show aggression towards other dogs. Its perfectly understandable and acceptable that not all dogs will be best friends, however if your dog generally does not get on with any other dogs then we unfortunately cannot board
  • Adult male dogs must be neutered
  • Whilst we will accept unspayed female dogs, if your dog is in or comes into season whilst boarding with us, you will be asked to sign a separate waiver stating you understand your dog cannot take part in group walks. This is for the safety of your dog

We also provide a dog walking service, so your dog will get to come on lots of different walks and make new friends when they stay with us, as well as having plenty of 121 time.

If they want to of course – if not, they can also just chill at home with Mr Berry’s Pet Services instead!

All ages and sizes of dogs can be catered for – and their exercise when staying with us will be adapted accordingly. So if you have a sofa snoozer then that’s where they can be and if you have a boundless energy pup then multiple daily walks will be perfect!

We’re experienced with puppies, elderly dogs, allergy-sufferers, dogs who require special diets, dogs who require medication, big dogs, little dogs, needy dogs – and grumpy dogs!
